Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
I applied for a job at Deming Public Schools on Indeed. A week or so later, this guy texted and emailed me saying that the job I wanted was unavailable but that he had another one, as a personal driver for his mother. He wanted me to deposit a (fake) check in my bank account that was supposed to cover having his mother’s car shipped from Boston. I caught on in time and did not lose money.
