Person called and immediately asked me to provide my birthdate and social security number. Anyone with any intelligence should know not to give out that information to someone who calls. If they call me they should have that information already. The man claimed he did have the information but I needed to verify it. Red flag! All this man and his supervisor would say is it is regarding an educational matter. My student loans have been in deferment for 11 months so there is no matter that needs to be discussed. They claimed they had mailed paperwork to me in the past but I’ve never seen any correspondence with this company name. If this is a legitimate company their policies should be reviewed and whoever determined to conduct business the way they currently do should be terminated for developing such a fraudulent seeming identification process.
