I googled the customer service number for Delta and 800-298-3422 came up. I called to book my flight to match my husbands.
Red flag #1 – said they couldn’t find my husbands confirmation which I was clearly looking at in my email
Red flag #2 – wasn’t able to pull up any history in my account- kept repeatedly asking for a ticket number from my previous flight that I was using credit from which they should of been able to see on their end
Red flag #3 – Kept calling me back obsessively asking me weird random questions like my middle initial
Red flag #4 – when I called them back they answered the phone just saying reservations and never referenced Delta
Red flag #5 – my first email confirmation came from [email protected] and the second one came from [email protected] (which is the scam one)

Caller asked if this was the office of ______. I replied "Yes. How can I help you?". Call immediately disconnected from their end. A few minutes later caller called our front desk. Asked our executive assistant if I worked there. She asked who was calling. Caller identified themselves (name was unintelligible) from Delta. Our assistant said "yes" and the call immediately disconnected from the caller’s end.
