Martin Jacobson sent an email on Jan 11, 2018 looking for an experienced REO agent to market portfolios that was handed down to United Default. The email described the company commission structure they would pay agents for listing the properties, along with what United Default would handle. Martin Jacobson offered a REO listing that need a BPO (broker price opinion) performed. Upon speaking with Martin on the phone, I questioned him about the REO at 32 Ridgeoak Place, Jackson Tn 38305. I specifically ask Martin if this was a BPO only or would this become a listing for my company, DCL7 Properties. He guaranteed this BPO would become a listing for DCL7. Martin told me what they paid for BPOs and the commission structure for listing the property. Martin, while on the phone, offered additional zip codes for a fee that I could receive listings and BPOs from. This included 3 levels: Gold Executive, w/a 1 yr subscription with 3 counties and 25 zip codes @ $519. Silver: w/1yr subscription, 2 counties with auto generated notifications of new assignments $439. Bronze: 1yr subscription, 1 county @ $349. I paid Martin with a credit card for the Silver subscription. $439. Transaction ID 3943580603. Auth Code 04754G. Merchant Acct: Livi Management, Inc. on 1/11/2018 @ 10:26:03am cst. The receipt came from: [email protected] The property foreclosed Feb 13, 2018
The BPOs paid up to $100 for interior and $75 for drive by. Needless to say, I never received pay for the work performed and I did not receive the listing, as promised. The house came on the market 4/30/2018 with Coldwell Banker, Mckee. Immediately I called Martin and emailed him, daily for over a week. After going online and checking reviews, I found several Realtors that have lost money to this company and Martin Jacobson.
