In June 2016, we found a listing for a "rent to own" home located at 36147 Serbia Spruce Drive, Dade City, FL 33525 by a David L Weintraub. We paid first and last month rent as deposit, totaling $2300. He did not disclose that this home entered pre-foreclosure on February 2016. We lived there for 2.5 years and paid our monthly rent of $1150 on time every month. On 9/12/2018, we were served with paperwork regarding how the house we were renting was going to be sold at auction on 10/15/2018. We were forced to move because the man had no legal right to the home we were renting. His name was not on the deed and we had no legal right to be there so had to relocate our family in less than a month.
