He sent me the exact emails and I lost $450. Right before Christmas I really feel stupid and devastated. There are enough of us that got scammed to do something. I’m planning on contacting the news if the police won’t do anything.

This is the email I received. We realized it was a scam. The email is the same as others. Thank you for posting.
I reached out to David because he said he has huskies for sale. At first the conversation was normal, but then I started to get a bit suspicious because he wanted money upfront before “shipping” the puppy. A lot of what he told me is what other people have said that he has told them. This is a scam! Do not give money to this guy!

It was the 2nd email when he supposedly suddenly relocated the alarm bells told me this was a scam and to google the address and him. He actually sent multiple pictures and videos of pups. I’m disappointed and completely disgusted. He is a despicable excuse for a human preying on families with good intentions.

He contacted me about an ad I responded to which claims he has yorkie pups for $460. He stated he was relocated to Rapid City due to joining the army. He said he would need to ship the pup. I was skeptical and told him it sound like a scam… so he sent me a pic of his army id… the same one that has been posted on here… right when I started to believe him, something told me to google him…that’s how I ended here…NICE TRY [censored]!
I paid this man $650 for 3 yorkies. He said his brother died and he just wanted to place the puppies in a good home. He said he is in RAPID CITY SD. He said all transportation would be taken care of at his expense. When the transaction was complete I received an email stating it would cost me an additional $1500 for shipping. I refused because he said he would pay. When he refused to pay and spoke to me like I was the scammer, I asked for my money back. He refused and so I reported him to RAPID CITY police who said he’d pulled the same scam multiple times even saying he worked for their police force. Please do all the research you can on anyone you do business with on Craigslist.
I lost $450 in this horrible scam. Is there anything you did to try and get money back?
And he also sent a message from another number I listed on here supposedly from a courier agency and used the name Jeffrey Logan. Both men had middle eastern accents.

Ok, I will post this on here again. The ID that is being used for these scams is my husbands but we are not the ones selling these dogs. We were scammed from this guy too and he is now using my husband’s ID. I do not appreciate getting nasty messages sent to us on facebook when you assume that it’s automatically us just because you are sent a picture of a military ID. First off, this guy doesn’t even have my name right when he tries to pose as my husband. Second, we don’t have 3 kids as he has been saying. I posted on this thread before after a kind lady reached out to me on Facebook notifying me of this website that I didn’t even know existed because my Husband’s name is all over it. We have had a lot of people send us messages on Facebook concerning this issue. My husband has reached out to the police about it and also notified his leaders.
I don’t know if it is David Edwin Hall or the guy David Juggla mentioned above but the same thing happened to me but I did call the police and did file a police report on this guy I will be pressing charges against him and or the other guy mentioned if need as well because this is not ok that he continues to get away with this I am not the one to play these kind of games I will take full force and make sure he is caught and punished for scamming and even more using a military id he should be ashamed of himself

The military ID is my husbands, but this is not us trying to sell these dogs. We were scammed by this guy as well and ever since he got a picture of my husband’s ID he has been doing this to people. My husband did report it to the police and his leaders once we found out this was happening.
Thank all my stars that I found this website. I felt it was too good to be true but when he sent the name I googled it and found the exact same narratives about a husky puppy named max with pic and videos. It is the exact narrative that you have provided me. I did share with him my name and address as I really though maybe it would be real. I had originally googled the oweners of the south dakota home and it did not add up and then when he sent his cash name as david edwin hall as opposed to Mac Foster I knew that needed some googling. Thank you all for saving me my hard earned money and my heart breaks. So I just texted him back that i know this is scam and if he tried to contact me again I will call the police. Luckily my credit is horrible so no one should be able to do anything and i have credit alert

We were scammed by this guy back in January 2020 for $1,100 trying to purchase a husky puppy named Max. My husband sent him a picture of his Military ID because the guy told him he needed some form of Identification before shipping us the puppy. My husband told me the guy said his name was David. We have received multiple messages on Facebook from people asking if we are the actual people selling the puppies because they have received a copy of my husband’s military ID and they felt like it was a scam. It is a scam. We have been a victim of it and ever since this man has been pretending to be my husband. A lot of the details about purchasing the puppy I do not know because it was supposed to be a surprise for my daughter and I. But it seems this person has ads on craigslist for multiple different puppies. I am truly sorry for any of this. I hope that this guy is caught soon and stops doing this to people because it’s truly devastating. You can look me up on Facebook if you like. You can see that I am the real David Edwin Hall’s wife. At this point I knew it was a scam he wanted me to use CashApp no debit cards. When I acted dumb and said what is CashApp he then said I should Go to CVS buy a $450.00 Wal-Mart card scratch the back of it and send him a photo of it. I will then have my puppies by night fall.

I contacted these people via a add on craigslist pets mn. They gave me the story they had a uncle pass and had 3 puppies, 250 for one 450 for 2 or 650 for all three. They wanted to send via air transport and told me they had shipping coupons so i wouldnt be charged to ship the puppy. They also asked me to use zelle to wire them the money. I said i didnt trust so would like them to send id and call me to verify. Sent id ( not them after i researched online and on facebook) it was a military id, and contacted the gent whos idenity they had stole to ask if was legit and him and he said no, and he had recieved 4 emails regaurding this already. Pplice are investigating i guess. Wanted to post so no one falls for these dirty cheating people scammers.
