I responded to a rental property ad on the internet saying I was interested in the property and would like more information. They emailed me back and thanked me for my inquiry and gave me a lot of information, said if I needed anymore information that I could email back and ask any questions I wanted to. Some of the info included in the first email was rent prices, deposit, and application fees. I asked if they had a phone number I could contact them at to talk more in detail about the property.
He emailed me back and said that he mostly communicates over email. I sent him my questions then continued to do research on the property. The property was listed on different websites for almost twice the price that the scammer had listed. I emailed them and told them what I had found and asked if they could explain it. They responded by saying that they tried to get the place rented by using an outside company but decided against it because they were charging too much for "agent fees". I then called the company that had the property listed for the higher price and they informed me that the scammers ad was fraudulent and that I should report it and have no more contact with the scammer. They are doing this with properties all over the southern United States.

Opticom Solutions Inc. called my dad and said that he had been viewing porn on his tablet and that they needed to "fix" his tablet. My dad does not watch porn, he uses it for Facebook and to play games. They scared him into thinking that he did something wrong and he gave them his credit card info to "fix" the problem. I have tried contacting Opticom via phone and email and will not return a response. Very, very sad that people do this to others.

He contacted me on ebay with a very high offer. He then stated that I needed to text him to confirm the deal. I texted the # and he gave me a whole story about how his paypal was hacked and that he needed to send me cash for the item. He explained that there would be a little more cash than his offer, since he needed me to pay his mover & the “moving company”. After sending me 6 times the original offer, i was then asked to complete 2 moneygram orders across the country. After seeing that they are not interested in my ebay item, i blocked the # & called my bank to explain the situation.

I received a call from David who said someone had hacked my computer and that he needed to access my computer to fix it. I had just had a problem with my computer so I believed him I paid for four years of service by a debit card. Something didn’t feel right. I got a receipt from Bansal Brothers, a clothing store. I asked why my receipt was from a clothing store & they said they were having issues and they are affiliated with them. I changed my bank accounts, credit cards and debit card afterward, as I put it through paypal first and it did not work. I then used a credit card and lastly the debit card. David did identify the company he worked for but placed an icon for Supremo on my computer. David had a heavy accent.
