My sister and I were searching Maltese puppies in Texas and happened to come across the dalhart maltese website. My sister contacted them by clicking on the puppy we were interested in. She filled out the info and the sent her a text and email within about 12 hours. They asked when we would want him, if we had any other dogs, and how much he would cost. They asked for $500 upfront to be paid via Cash app. Then said we would pay the remaining $350 upon delivery of the puppy. We submitted payment Saturday evening and they never really asked us any questions. I texted about doing a video call Saturday evening my sister texted Sunday morning. They texted her back and asked if FaceTime would work and that they would call after church. That was the last we heard from them. They stopped responding to my sisters texts.
