Customer’s computer locked up with message on screen to call phonenumber because computer was at grave risk of being compromised and personal records and banking at great risk. Scammer very cleverly explained that computer was not secure with a fire wall and that the technician would help customer get it resolved. After much remote maneuvering of computer screen by technician, customer felt "backed into a corner" to give them credit card info to fix the problem. Customer gave credit card info and did infact authorize the transaction. Bank could not help customer because customer gave permission to scammer to process. Customer should have simply turned off computer!
