My husband and i were in Kona,Hawaii for vacation when Hurricane Lane hit.We decided we should try to change our United flight home due to the severity of the hurricane.When I looked up United i did not notice that the number that popped up was CrystalTravel.I dialed and explained that we needed to change our flights Richard at Crystal Travel NEVER explained that he was NOT a United employee but began the transaction implying that he was.At the end he sent me an email requesting i accept terms and conditions.At that time i questioned why it came up CrystalTravel.us.He said”during these times of crisis we are selected to work with United to assist them in the high volume of calls”.
Of course i began to question the fees and my unease of him implying he was United.At this time he began pressuring me to act quickly and i asked him to hold while i verified with United on another line. At this time Richard hung up on me. Please note that United told me that he lied and was misrepresenting for money.The hurricane was very scared and stressful and he fully took advantage of our vulnerability.Please make their company aware of this as he may have misrepresented their company for the sale.
