Type of a scam Government Grant
Today, September 12, 2016, I received two voice mails from a caller that stated they were calling from the US Government and that I was entitled to $14,000.00. They stated that I had not had any records of any kind and that I was a good citizen and that’s why I was entitled to this money. They stated they needed an ID Number (assumed my SSN). I then received two more calls and this time I spoke to them. One call was from a woman and one call from a gentleman. I stated I was not interested and hung up.
