Two guys (one tall white guy and one short black guy with his right arm in a sling) rang our doorbell and was wanting to put out a sign for crime prevention. I asked if they were police officers, and they had said "No they were not!" They said they were with the Crime Prevention Program and they were wanting to speak with my husband, and any others that lived with me. They were fishing for personal information, and being very noisy. The black guy scraped his shoes on my outside rug, and made a play to come into my house, and I said, No you can’t come it because we are fixing to sit down to supper!" He asked for his card back and said, He would be back. I told them I wasn’t interested in anything they were selling, because I can’t afford it. He reassured me that they were told that there has been allot of crime in the area, and they just were keeping an eye out for free. They left and said they would be back, but they never came back. Nothing is free in this life, so I think this must have been a SCAM.
