Consumer saw an ad on Facebook. The ad said a bill had been passed for all people over 63 years old. If you are over 63 you can have your negative reported credit removed. The instructions were to click a link and they would call you in 2 minutes. The consumer received a call in less than 2 mins. It began by the caller saying this call was being recorded. The caller said the negative activity could be removed from the report they needed a social security number to begin the process. The consumer hung up at that time and contacted the BBB.
