Received a voice message from a computerized woman’s voice claiming to be Niki Johnson of the Canadian Revenue Agency. I was to call her or have my attorney call her immediately or legal action would be taken. Her hotline number is 1-888-338-9520.

Just received a phone call today. Said it was the CRA. That I or my attorney was to call them at 1-877-226-1936. If my attorney did not call them then all the legal costs would have to be paid by me.

Automated message telling the person to call the number above, or they will start litigation on your person and
and property. They never identify the person they phone, and the message is obviously bs.

CRA was suing me because I had not made payment. The number used was a 1-855… They called twice and left messages both times to call them back. I did call back but when I heard the man answer – I hung up.
I then called CRA to ensure I had no unpaid business 🙂 All good 🙂
