Type of a scam Debt Collections
I am not sure if this is a scam or not I am checking into it. I got a call from a place (Courtland) saying they are agent of ODE and that I owe them money for my school loans. I currently have all my school loans through one agency and I called that agency immediately to make sure I am all paid up which I am all current. I have been with this agency for over 5 years repaying my school loans.
The "scam" agency that called me and said I owe money said they sent letters, calls, etc. i have not received any calls or letters.
Not sure what if anything can be done just wanted to get it on someones radar
