Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill

I received a letter from what appeared to be the County of San Bernardino court system stating that I had a traffic citation that needed to be paid or I would be fined and my license would be suspended. It offered me a form to fill out, which asked for all my credit card info (including the CFC number on the back) as well as my social security number. They also included a website I could go to and pay online www.countybillpay.com. I did an online search and found the official website of the Superior Court of California, County of San Bernardino at http://www.sb-court.org/. None of the information that was provided in the letter matched the official website, including mailing address, phone number, or payment website. In fact, when I did a search of court records using my name and birth date, nothing came up on the official court website records.

About a week later I received a second letter from the same "business" stating that because I hadn’t paid the bill my license now has a hold on it and the citation would have to be paid in order to release the hold. This is, of course, pure scare tactics on their part hoping I would give them my payment information.
