Type of a scam Debt Collections
Called said I owed on a pay day loan from 2012. They could not tell me the company nor send me information. I had identity theft already. They said I owed 640 and had to pay now or they were going to take it to court and I would be responsible for court fees. They called my personal cell and work cell. Told them to call me back at 3pm. They never did. When you call the number is just says you have reached Council. I googled the number and get no information. They said they had sent papers in the mail. To my old address. I told them all my mail should of been fowarded. That made no sense to me. I checked my credit report I have no judgments nor collections. I do keep up on that since I had identity theft.
