Type of a scam Sweepstakes/Lottery/Prizes
I was sent an email advising that our company had won the North America Excellence Award despite our business not trading in America. When I called, the lady could not even confirm the address of where their call centre was based (I was told near Staffordshire in the UK, despite the email address saying New York).
This is clearly a scam – they are looking for money for fake trophies and advertisements on the website/publication etc.
