I received a letter that stated I may qualify for an abatement of rising maintenance fees from my timeshare. It was marked URGENT that I call this number (800-480-3675). The letter is from Accounting Division, Consumer Protection US. I don’t even own a timeshare. I researched the company on google and all signs point to a potential scam.

I received the attached fraudulent message about a nonexistent timeshare property which I do not own – a day or two after receiving a phone call about a timeshare, which I disconnected because I do not own a timeshare.
