Type of a scam Credit Cards
I received a phone call that started with an automated message saying I was approved for a lower interest rate on my credit card but it didn’t state what company or what code and there was a crackling noise like static through the recording. I pressed 1 and was sent to an operator with a heavy Indian accent who told me I was approved for a lower interest rate, when I asked what company he represented he said Visa. I said, but what company and he immediately hung up on me.
