Type of a scam Credit Cards

I received an email from someone claiming to be Jennifer Lane, who was supposedly hearing impaired. It was to inquire about purchasing a furnace for a home in our area. As she was hearing impaired, she could not call us on the phone but could text and email. I gave her cell number to contact me by text. It then became text messages about how to get a key to see the house where she was needing to have the furnace replaced. Then, she stated that since she owed $3,300 on the house and the current owner did not accept credit cards, would I be able to help her out by adding that charge to the purchase of the furnace and run it on her credit card. I have received the texts over several days now, and became suspicious when one of them came at 3:46 a.m., and then was asked to add $3,300 to my amount for the furnace. I searched online and found that this is a scam that has affected several other businesses before. Just thought you should be aware that this scam is now targeting the HVAC businesses in our area.
