Type of a scam Debt Collections
Got a call saying they were from Comenity Capitol Bank and I had a debt I owed the bank from a purchase made in Nov. they may have said they were calling about my credit account with the bank. Said they needed my info to verify the account and wanted to know how I would pay the debt.. with credit or debit. I asked all their info. I talked to Darrell with A689385 as an employee number. I know it was a fraud call bc this bank does not exist. There is a Comenity Bank in San Antonio, with a similar address. I called this bank using the number from your website and talked to Rose 7755. She seemed to also be a fraud. Said she would transfer me to protective services then it disconnected. They said I bought something from Sahilie and Hayband in Nov which I did not. I don’t know if this will help catch them but it’s infuriating
