A charge of $32.99 showed up on my dad’s bank statement as a recurring charge. The website given was www.colonialhfl (no .com, .org or .net). I googled it and only colonial life insurance came up. I called them and they said it is not them. I phoned the bank and they could not find out any more information either. I had to put a stop payment on the recurring charge and my dad will be charged $30 for the stop payment fee. I will contact the banks fraud department to investigate further. If they find it is a scam, my father will be reimbursed for the fee plus whatever the scam cost him.
