Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
I have been receiving texts from this person or people saying my check is on the way. They did send me a check I have it in my possession right now. The package came with a number to text for further instructions. I texted the number but got no response back. The original number told me that I have to deal with him since he is the one in charge. I haven’t tried to cash the check fearing it is all a scam from what I’m seeing online about how cola cola actually hires people to have decals on their car. This person is telling me to deposit the check and take out all but $500 from the check to pay for the decals to be put on my car. They told me That I would be paid $500 a week to have the decals on my car. That striked me as odd. Please help me.
