On Dec 1, 2016 a woman called me and said she was trying to serve me papers. She called from 615-208-3450. She told I had to contact the attorneys at 321-222-1298. I proceeded to call the number where a woman told me I had written a bad check in 2011 and if I didn’t pay 1491.11 by 11:00 am on Dec 2, 2016 she would forward the two felony charges to Shelby County Circuit Court. At 10:45 a person claiming to be Shelby County Circuit Court Clerk at 901-545-4006 told me the civil charges are being dropped and criminal charges are going to be pressed.
