Cockapoo Puppies Farm

Morgan – Jul 04, 2020

The same email message as the first complaint, and same phone number, I asked questions about the puppy and to physically see it and for no reply but as soon as a I mention a deposit they jumped on it. I was skeptical at the price but I definitely knew it had to be a scam when I asked why the price is so cheap and for nothing. Not even when I asked about the application questions they sent, then I found this website to confirm and it’s the ONLY one I could find about this specific website. I hope they don’t get to scam anyone !

Total money lost $950

Type of a scam Online Purchase

My elderly parents were just scammed online. I helped them to buy a puppy for $950. The dog was not sent to us and the person is no longer taking my calls. We sent them the money via Zelle and the bank says we cannot get it back. My parents have very little money. We somewhat rushed this transaction because my parents have been overwhelmed with grief, as their beloved dog passed away last month. I am at a loss over what to do. I am so heartbroken for my poor parents. Now they don’t have any money to get a puppy they wanted. The fraudulent website that they are using to scam people is www.cockapoopuppiesfarm.com. We sent the money via Zelle and the email we sent it to is [email protected] The phone number we used to communicate with is 252-528-7353. The website is www.cockapoopuppiesfarm.com

I came across this site with some Cockapoo puppies available for $650 through Google. I messaged through their site and the breeder/owner responded within an hour or so via email. In the email, he or she didn’t identify their name or location (nor on the website) and asked this list of questions to me:

a) what is the name of the closest airport to you

b) Will you like home delivery by a puppy nanny

c) How will you like to pay ( 1) CashApp or (2) Zelle payment or MoneyGram Bank.

d) When will you like to make your payment( DD/MM)

e) Is this your first experience with this breed /any other breed

f) Do you have any vet your can reply on incase of an emergency

g) Briefly tell us about yourself, household and immediate environment

Then I answered most of them except the part when I’d like to make the payment and asked that I’d like to visit the dog before proceeding. This person also text messaged me with the same information as email but didn’t answer my questions of potentially visiting the dog and knowing their address for me to pickup (wanted to know how long it’d take me to get there). This person wasn’t responding to my email so I texted him for more picture and again asked if I can visit but he/she was saying no visiting only shipping even if I informed that I’m nearby and can definitely pick up the puppy. Also he/she immediately wanted to proceed when I wasn’t clear on my questions. That’s when I knew this was a scam.

I was looking to adopt a cockapoo puppy. They said they included delivery from NC as well as most recent shots for $650. I asked how I know it’s not a scam, and the person text messaged me threw a fit and told me to leave him/her alone. In later checking, this website was just created exactly two weeks ago!
