Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
Received email from someone claiming to be from Coca Cola, wanting to advertise an autowrap in exchange for $500 weekly. I didn’t give bank info, however did give physical address and cell phone number. Received texts giving info on how to receive first payment along with payment for specialist to apply wrap to my vehicle. FedEx delivered check in amount of $2200. Texts then asked many times to deposit in bank acct. Doing further research, found out this is a scam. Check has NOT been deposited, I still have paper check in my ‘custody. I have no idea what to do from here.
