I am a therapist and was contacted by Debi Hardwick Vice President of Coastal HealthCare Administrators to become an in-network provider. I was sent an unsolicited agreement and a participating physicians contract. I called and spoke with "Debi" and was told my full therapist fee would be allowed under the contract. This is very suspect and unheard of for therapist reimbursement in California. Forms all look the same/similar to contracts for reputable insurance company such as BlueShield. I interacted with "Debi" by phone and email. Emails were always responded to immediately. I was told a board reviews new practitioners at a board meeting in November. Did research and there was a website but no history or reviews despite claiming to be around for a long time. Feeling suspect I contacted again by email to find out more about submitting paperwork and received an immediate response but this one requested a check or money for $350.
