Said that they were trying to collect a debt from a company that I had a credit card with. The voicemail left on phone threatened to go to Human Resources at my employment to start garnishing my wages.

They called claiming there was an issue with my mother in law that was linked to my name and social security number. When I called back and asked basic information about their company they wouldn’t give me anything other than they were calling from CRS. I started to get frustrated and the person I was speaking with did as well, she then hung up on me. I called back and they hung up on me again. My mother in law called trying to figure out what was happening in which they said she couldn’t mail a check to pay off her debit it all had to be done electronically over the phone with a credit card. When she said send her a website they said they didn’t have those capabilities, she called them scammers and they hung up on her. Yesterday they contacted me again saying they were seeking legal action if the issue wasn’t resolved. I had my husband call them which they couldn’t give him the company name, place, business ID number and continued to hang up on him over 9 times.
