Type of a scam Online Purchase
I saw an ad for a product (Heritage Periodic Table) that was discounted. I did some searches for their business name and saw nothing (no warnings but also no positive reviews). I ordered the product from their website on 18 March 2019. The order didn’t give me a 10% discount, so I emailed them. They quickly refunded the 10% (roughly $4).
I waited many weeks and never received the product. On 6 April, I emailed asking for an update. I was told the product was shipped but they were behind on orders and they’d send a tracking number "in the next few days." I got no such email, and my product never arrived. I emailed asking them to cancel the order. Their website has a very unreasonable "20% fee" for refunds. I have since contacted my credit card and reported the problem; they have given me a refund while they investigate.
Jinnie Store/Warmax have not yet responded to my order cancellation.
I searched the web again and apparently this "business" is now selling inferior/fraudulent quilts.
