I received this as a job posting through my college email. I thought it was a real posting because it came from my school. I deposited the check the first time not knowing where it was from and didn’t think twice. Then I was contacted say they stopped payment on check cause they didn’t hear back from me. The second time I got a list of instructions along with a check. I deposited it and it didn’t clear the next day like normal checks so that sent a red flag. I started researching and I feel like it is a scam. I just had to pay stop payment fees luckily.
