This number called me saying they were with Chase Bank, since I do not have a credit card or bank account with chase I stayed on the line to let them know not to contact me again. When a person came on the phone I told them I didn’t have an account with Chase or a credit card and did not want them to ever call my phone again. The “lady” was foreign and said to me “[censored] you” and hung up. I thought I would report it to the bbb so you can inform Chase Bank they are using their name and speaking to people that way. Thank you for your time.

I was called on my cell phone last week. The caller said they were with Chase Bank fraud department and wanted to review a few potential fraudulent charges. They did NOT ask me any personal information. I asked them what card they were calling about and was told my Chase Sapphire Reserve. Seemed legit. They said they had to verify they were talking to me and they would send me a 5 digit code by text. They then asked me to read it back to them. Once they had that they asked me a about a charge from Macy’s for over $1000 and another for Sax Fifth Avenue for over $1200. I told them they were not my charges. They told me not to worry that both charges were declined at point of service. They said they would be freezing my card and I should expect a new card in a few days.
The next morning I got a call from Chase "Fraud department" again. They said they wanted to verify a couple of charges from the same morning. I explained that someone had called me the night before and had already shut my card off. They then told me that was the Scammer. Here is how it worked: They called me because they had probably gotten my information (card/cell phone, etc.) from the dark web. They were attempting to add my Chase card to their Apple Wallet on their phone. When they were prompted for the code sent by text, they then had to call ME to get it. The next morning they had apparently downloaded it onto 2 phones. One Scammer went to Costco in St. Peters and the other to Costco in South St. Louis. Within 2 minutes of each other they had each charged over $2000 (over $4,000 total). This is when the actual Chase Fraud Department picked up on it and called me. I have spoken to many people about this. Everyone says they would have probably fallen for it as well. In fact, when the real Chase called me they too asked me to verify myself by a code sent to my phone. I immediately told them I would hang up and call the 800# on the back of my card. A police report has been filed with the City of St. Peters. Chase was able to provide the cell phone number used and time of each transaction. This happened only 15 minutes from my home. I hope they will follow through and find this person via Costco security footage.

The caller asks if you can hear them, and when you reply "yes" they take your voice and charge a payment that you cannot dispute because they have recorded your "vocal agreement to the payment" even if you were not aware of it.

I did not click on the link instead I called the bank to verify that the text message was a scam. A. Cooper called my 87 yr old mother regarding her Chase credit card offering no interest on a new one. He asked for her birthdate, SS number and number of her credit card. Although she reads all about this or hears about this in the news she gave him her information because 1. the phone number said Chase Card Services 2. he told her the balance on her account. She asked to speak with his manager regarding this offer and he told her he was busy but would call her back. I came home from work and she told me the story not realizing that Chase would have had all this information. I called the phone number back and it does indeed go to Chase Bank. The gentleman I talked to there said yes it is their number but they cannot call out on it only people can only call in. This has been happening since December to them.

I woke up on March 9th, 2019 to find a text claiming to be from Chase and telling me that my debit card was suspended for suspicious activity. The text included a number with a live link to call Chase Fraud Department. When I called the number given, I was greeted by a standard Chase welcome message from an automated system. I was then prompted to enter my debit card information, zip code and social security number. The message then informed me that my information had been verified and my card was active. I decided to call Chase customer service to follow up because I wanted to know what exactly had triggered the fraud alert. Customer service did not see anything wrong with the text message. I wasn’t until I asked to be transferred to the fraud department that I was told that the number I called was not from Chase.

I received a phone call from Chase Bank. I should have known better, I had a friend that worked at Chase and she said to never fall for phone call scams, they don’t call. I spoke to someone he said he could lower my interest rate. He had my credit card information, but he was asking me questions about my accounts. I gave him the information. I should have known better though. He then asked me for my social security number and I refused to give it. I asked him his name and he said Danny Green. He sounded foreign. When I asked him why his name was Danny, that didn’t sound very foreign, he hung up on me. I called my bank and they told me it was a scammer. They cancelled my two credit cards and have helped me fix the issue. I called ScamPulse.com to see if there was anything else I should do. The scammer called me from 330-603-1621 and they keep calling. I keep hanging up on them.

I had a missed call from 800-945-2000, I called it back said it was my bank chase, had some of my info and sounded so real. Even had recording where you make a selection, and switching from one person to another, talking about my accounts and asking info about my address and my social security, but after they could not find my info asked for another address, and continued on "but at the end of call kept saying cant find my card info without the whole number"! So at that point I hong up the phone, the bell went off. So I got my card and called the number on the back, at that time I was told, they did not call me and they new nothing of the number that called me, so at that point I new I was scammed. So from then I started the process of identity theft.

I received a call from 260-413-8466. It was from an individual with a heavy accent. He said he was with Chase Bank and there was an issue with my credit card. He asked for my account number. I said I was driving and did not have it and he should have it since he called me. He got frustrated and asked if I had any other credit cards. I told him I bank at another bank and he asked for that credit card number. I refused and hung up on him. The number he called from concerns me seeing it looks to be a local cell phone number. Is there a way to track down who this person is by finding the account associated with the phone number?
