Son – law called and report this scam. Rec’d a phone call stating her Grandson was in jail. Grandson stated he was driving with a friend and was pulled over by a policeman for speeding, In Charlotte NC. Police searched the trunk of the car and found $100,000.00 with of Cocaine. Sgt John Griffin said Go to Rite-Aid and wire $3,000.00 to get grandson out of jail. Grandson had only 1 phone call and he chose to call Grandmother. Sgt John Griffin 888-206-3515 explained how to go to Rite Aid and what to do.
