Type of a scam Tax Collection
Received a call at my home informing me that the US Treasury was trying to contact me about a problem with fraud relating to my tax return. I called the number (714-517-1605), and they essentially said that the US Treasury Dept had determined that I had committed intentional tax fraud. I was given the option to set up a payment plan or they would send the police to arrest me. I hung up.
