Type of a scam Counterfeit Product
I receive emails with address [email protected] At the bottom of the email there is a message:
"The person (or organization) who started this petition is not affiliated with Change.org. Change.org did not create this petition and is not responsible for the petition content.
This email was sent by Change.org to ***.***@***.com. To stop news updates from this petition, you may unsubscribe here."
In essence, Change.org is allowing people not affiliated with Change.org to submit emails as Change.org. For me, this ultimately lead to an email exchange with a person who listed contact information in this manner:
"For questions, concerns, and media/ press inquiries please contact Sharika at [email protected] or send a Tweet to @LadyThriller69 [Sidenote: 69 stands for the cancer zodiac sign.]"
After contacting this email with my concerns, I was accused of several things such as: "a bunch of white people are going at a black girl, taking a crap on the work that we are doing, etc…" and called me several names including but not limited to: "Honey, angry, hung, abusive, disrespectful, rude, etc…"
