Total money lost $25
Type of a scam Online Purchase
The website you get after googling "sell my Iphone" promises you $50 or whatever to sell you Iphone, laptop, etc. When they get the item, suddenly it’s worth $10. I called and threatened to turn them in to the ScamPulse.com and they offered me half what the "come-on" was for my used IPhone – $25. I took it because the hassle of getting it returned was more than I cared to undergo. But I could have "recycled" my phone with Sprint, my carrier — and received a $35 credit on my bill! I also sold this company a like-new netbook which they offered $20 for and the "real" price I got was $7. Scam!
Here is a copy of the email I got.
