Bonnie – Sep 18, 2020

I received a few calls about a loan that I had applied for and they told me that I had been approved for $3,000 to $8,000. Inorder for me to receive the $8,000 I had to send my first installment payment of $200 via cash app. They asked me if I had a bank account with a routing and account number which I have them the number to my PayPal account they said they could not use that account which alarmed me to think that it was a scam because they wanted me to use cash app and that’s how I would also receive the $8,000.

Garnishment Notification and Arrest Notice

CASE FILE #: OM/27A/98736471

Deadline to resolve this matter: July 17th, 2020

Settlement Amount: $850.00

Dear Debtor,

This letter is to notify you that we have received a Summons of Garnishment on your wages. This means that someone you owe money to has been awarded a judgment by the court for payment of the debt. The court has ordered us your employer to deduct 25% percent of your disposable earnings and make payment to the court on your behalf. The following applies to you:

Before you are arrested

If you pay in full, or make a part-payment before you are arrested, the warrant will be recalled and amended. However, it will be immediately re-issued if the debt is not paid in full.

After you are arrested

Once the warrant has been served, your only options are to serve the time in prison or pay the debt (plus costs) in full at the courthouse.

If you want to stop the garnishment deductions from your paycheck, you must obtain a release or pay the entire amount you owe, which you can pay with the help of One Vanilla Prepaid Card and in order to close this account.

What is garnishment?

Garnishment is a legal process that allows a creditor to remove funds from your [bank]/ [credit union] account to satisfy a debt that you have not paid. In other words, if you owe money to a person or company, they can obtain a court order directing your bank to take money out of your account to pay off your debt. If this happens, you cannot use that money in your account.

Why am I receiving this notice?

On July 8th, 2020 we received a garnishment order from a court to [freeze/remove] funds in your account. The amount of the garnishment order was for $1325.25. We are sending you this notice to let you know what we have done in response to the garnishment order. You can contact your creditor for a settlement amount.

If you have any questions about the garnishment, you should contact the persons named on the included Summons of Garnishment by email.

Sincerely,

Patrick Spencer

Sr. Officer

You did not make the payment, despite repeated requests from our side.

If you do not take immediate action:

We will be forced to download this case against you and once it is downloaded the creditor has entire rights to inform your employer regarding this and if you are found guilty under the bench by jury then you have to bear a lawsuit, which will be amounting to $2423.13 and we are sending you this notice to let you know what we have done in response to the garnishment order. Tracy – Jun 16, 2020

I’ve received 2 emails, one from cash advance and one from cash neon. Saying if I don’t pay, they’ll be garnishing my wages and reporting to the credit bureaus. I have no idea who they are where this is coming from. This is the 3rd time I’m having companies come for me about a loan. And I can’t afford to have this affect my wages or my credit. What can I do to stop this from happening? Who can I get in contact with to drop this harassment

Walter – Jun 12, 2020

Just got an email stating I owed money and if I didn’t pay I was going to have a warrant taken out on me by Cash Neon..also that they are going to garnish my wages

Christian – May 20, 2020

Just received a letter from Cashneon with no name who it’s for and and no contact number, saying we owe $1300 but will take 2 payments of $450. Never heard of them. Threatened some bs about bank fraud and and jail time. See below:

Notice Issued On: May 19th, 2020
Amount Outstanding: $1385.32 (higher than actual amount owed)
Settlement Amount: $850.00 for Today or two payments of $450.00 from Today.

Dear Debtor,

It has come to our attention that your account is now SERIOUS OVERDUE and this letter is a final demand for payment. We have, as of yet, received no payment towards this account or contact explaining the failure to make payments. If there is a reason why these payments have been withheld we would be obliged if you could contact us in order to either explain the reason or come to some form of payment arrangement.

If we do not hear from you within the next 72 hours then we will have no alternative but to commence with further debt collection procedures. This will include instructing out Federal Trade Commission, Credit Bureaus, and Employer etc.

Court proceedings will be issued within 14 days from the date of this letter if the account has not been settled. You will be prosecuted for Following Allegations;

• Bank Fraud

• Violation of Federal Law of Debt and Banking

• Intentional Theft by Deception

YOU ARE REQUIRED TO PAY for Small Claims to Collection Agency.

(a) all debts now payable by you to the debtor, within 30 days after this notice is served on you; and
(b) all debts that become payable by you to the debtor after this notice is served on you and within 30 days after this notice is issued, within 72 hours after they become payable.

The total amount of all your payments to the clerk is not to exceed $ (1423.13).THIS NOTICE IS LEGALLY BINDING ON YOU until it expires or is changed, renewed, terminated or satisfied. If you do not pay the total amount or such lesser amount as you are liable to pay, you must serve a Garnishee’s Statement (Form 20F) on the creditor and debtor, and file it with the collection Agency within 10 days after this notice is served on you.

There will be no further warnings made for demands of payment. Court proceedings can include the additional expense of legal costs and interest being added to the balance of this account. It is regrettable that it has come to this point and court action is still avoidable if immediate and full settlement of this account is made.

WE HAVE ALL THE RIGHTS RESERVED TO INFORM TO FTC & YOUR EMPLOYER AND BANK ABOUT THIS FRAUD.

As we have shared with you in previous letters read your loan agreement; the next step is clearly defined. It could cost us both a great deal of time and money; you can avoid this by taking care of this now.

This action can be avoided by either settling the outstanding amount immediately or contacting us within 72 hours with a suitable payment arrangement.

We look forward to hear from you.

I was contacted about being approved for a loan . When texting back and forth the person stated because my credit isn’t good enough I would have to pay a huge fee for a loan or do a bank verification by getting Walmart cards/ vouchers and put them in my bank and send them back the money. At that point they will deposit my loan into my account.

Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order

Applied for a payday loan was approved with cashneon for 5000.00$ they had all my info and was told I was approved and the funds would go directly into my online account. Used loans in the past they do the bank account verify so they know ur account is legit and they will get their money back. However this company deposited 850.00$ mobile direct deposit into my checking account, check made out to me and they even forged my signature on back of check. Check was from SFC-Marketplace Inc Pomona Ca 91768 then they contacted me needing me to send 200.00 of the check in google play cards to them so rest of my 5000 could go into my account. Once they asked for that I knew it was a scam and now these people had my personal info. 5 days later my bank was trying to get me on fraud cause the deposit they had done was not a legit account and a fake check. After I knew it was a scam I did report to the fraud dept at my bank but didn’t matter they now shut my account down.
