Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan
A man named david Cooper, emailed me saying that I was being charged with online fraud, as well as other charges (He wouldn’t say what the other charges were), but didn’t know who they were. That I needed to notify my employer of these charges and if I didn’t respond, they would proceed to court and I would need a lawyer and I was facing serious charges. I responded by asking what this was about and who this was for. He proceeds to email back saying I owed $752 for an unpaid loan. I then email asking how to resolve this, he responded by saying I could make payments. I let him know I could only do $52, he sends payment info of getting iTunes cards as a form of payment. I asked what company this was from, sincere I couldn’t remember asking/getting a loan from them. He said- cash cloud, cash net America, ash advance, cash at once, etc. (his exact words. I’ve kept all emails) I said I’ve never received documents and he replied with soon as I sent a payment in, he would send info.
Then i decided to look up the ScamPulse.com of scams. I quit responding to him, but he’s continues to email me saying that I was supposed to pay yesterday, so I could keep it out of court. That if I didn’t respond, it would be a flat refusal and they would be contacting the courts and proceed further, that I’d better answer, since I didn’t make payment yesterday. I need to make payment if I was willing to resolve this issue, so needed answer him urgently. That he’s waiting for my urgent answer.
