Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
I applied for a job on indeed.com (not for the personal assistant job). After my application I received a text message of a picture that gave the inquiry information. I sent an email and got one back. After exchanging a few more emails, Carol had told me that I was her new personal assistant. Six days later I received an email that she had sent a check to me for $2,612 so that I could pay for some of her artwork and keep $500 for myself. I did not cash the check but I still have it.
