They call you saying you won a free night with Marriott Hotels. They then tell you about some insane package deal and that you get an additional cruise vacation for free. They say it’s a $3100 deal but with the promotion it is only $1100. If they sense some hesitation, they will tell you to call Marriott at 1-800-783-5086. If you try to hang up they will say they will not be able to honor the price unless you book immediately but if you still try to hang up, they will drop the price to $800. I called Marriott, not the number they gave me, and they confirmed it was a scam. They did not seem to care about alerting others and just told me to contact my local police department….
