On Tuesday, August 15, 2017 @ At 2:04pm. I rec’d. an automated phone call from 1-904-203-1568 saying that they haven’t rec’d. my activation for my car’s warranty. It said that I should have rec’d. it int he mair for me to complete and return. (I just purchased a new car from Keith Pierson that offers a lifetime warranty, of course I thought I was supposed to do something like that….)_ The automation said did I want to speak to a representative to activate it now. I said yes, they asked the exact question again, hence me saying AGAIN……"YES". It wasn’t until that moment that I realized that I had just did what I was warned not to do; of course the call then immediately disconnected. I immediately called the number back and it was another automation message saying that I had won a "X" amount of money on a gift card to several stores and did I want to confirm now to press #1, or if I wanted to no longer receive calls such as this to please press #2, when I pressed #@, the call immediately ended……
Now since this happen, I recall that I have recently been receiving cell phone calls from the same exchange of 203, but the caller name was "Likely Scam" and I never answer them. I would like to also list those numbers as well: Aug. 15 – 1-904-254-5781; 1-510-881-7878;
1-239-785-1905; 1-904-495-0833; 1-813-708-8662, PLEASE advise what else is there that I can do to protect my credit and bank account.
