Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan
I applied for online for a loan at three different companies: Refresh Financial, Reality Alliance Financial and Credit One Bank. For some reason I got a call from a place called Capwell Lending Group. They said they could lend me $10,000 if I first wired them $1000 through email transfer. I asked if there were any other options, and they said if someone had a full time job, they could co-sign for me. I said my girlfriend did, and they quickly changed the subject to ask when I’d send the money.
The woman I talked to was supposedly named Susan McKenzie and her number was 647-292-4667. They gave their address as 99 Wyse Rd Suite 1100 Dartmouth, NS B3A 4S5
