Type of a scam Online Purchase
Apparent scammer contacted me through my website looking to purchase products to ship to Australia from PA. We got as far as her freight company providing a quote to ship the products. She now wants me to charge the order and freight to a credit card as she said: "the freight company has an issue with their machine." She didn’t ask enough questions about the order and that was a red flag to me as I am a specialty food producer. My concern is that they would be using a stolen credit card or funneling money through the shipper. Note, no monies were exchanged.
