I received a call from a gentleman claiming to be with Capital one. He said that he could lower my interest rate. I asked who he was and he said that he was with Capital one. I advised that I would contact capital one myself. Capital one told me this was a scam. He called from 217-468-7643. I did give him the last four digits of my credit card but I did not him any other personal information but did want to warn others of this call.
