Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
The scammer contacted me by e-mail making themself known to me as an agent seeking an employee and had received my information online on LinkedIN and offered me a position with the company after an interview and company board approval. I did an interview using Google Hangouts. Long story of how this scammer went above and beyond to make the victim believe they were getting a job but he sought me out. He then shortly like the following day tracking shipped a Cashiers Check for Supplies and Technology to partake and complete necessary duties of this job which was flagged and later confirmed to be fraud by Sunwest FCU where i held an account. I completed training which was supposed to be paid according to the contract.
