I was waiting for a call from a vet so I answered the phone although I did not recognize the number. Person asked if Craig was available since I know someone with that name I said no. The lady then talked about putting packets together for ladies dealing with breast cancer. She was very forceful. Since I know of someone dealing with that disease I allowed myself to get pushed into saying yes to a donation. She then told me to wait for quality control. I was asked by a different woman for my zip code, address, my name (spelling out last and first) then to verbally verify a $15 donation. Which I did. I got off the phone feeling very unsettled and realized that it may have been a scam taking advantage of a sensitive topic and my desire to help. I wanted to report it just in case it would help to keep someone else from feeling violated.
