Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill
We began to receive emails from an unknown source stating we had an unknown invoice unpaid and had a debt owing. We corresponded a bit then we ignored it. We then began getting telephone calls from a department called CDR Solutions stating they were a collections agency for Canada Business Pages Online of which we had an outstanding unpaid invoice and if it is not paid we face damages to our credit rating. The scammers sent us info which included a Business listing on their site with all our companies info. They demanded payment via credit card however instead a cheque was issued to them. We are unsure of whether or not they will be able to acess our accounts via that cheque now.
