Type of a scam Employment
I was on indeed.com I applied for a job for a production artist with a company called calistacorp. I was offered a job interview, they sent me to a "google hangout chat" I answered a bunch of question that are standard for an interview. Follow up Google hang out meeting the next day. We chat a little more and I was emailed a job offer form. The job was too good to be true. Thankfully I talked about my concerns during the hiring process. Like I was told on indeed that I would need to do a job skill test or that earlier this year I was approached by a scammer who offered very similar things they were offering LIKE Home office, paying for equipment using only their approved vender. After that they pulled the plug on the interview and I initially thought I did something wrong. At this point I was pretty convinced it was legitimate and signed the job offer form and mailed it back to them thankfully the form only had my name on it and I never gave social security or credit card or bank info. But It left me initially feeling like I did something wrong when in fact, I tripped their warning bells and they pulled the plug. Never do a job interview via a text message, research the company, research the people who you are talking to and then also do a search for a scam that sounds like the job offer. Be very careful these people are tricky.
