Type of a scam Phishing
My 81 year old father was contacted by Mr. Shawn who stated he worked for BVL and was interested in purchasing my father’s land. My father gave him a credit card number. I intervened and when I questioned Shawn about a website, actual name of the company and why he needed a credit card number, he became hostile and abruptuly ended the call. I believe it’s a scam because Shawn called from a number registered to South Carolina exchange, but yet states he works in Florida. Please investigate.
