I am an LLC. A letter arrived today from Business Compliance Services, stating to file an annual report every year. Within the letter, it requests my business to provide the names of each director and officer, my business EIN Number, verify my business as an LLC, my LLC address, insurance company, policy number and date of coverage, email, signature, and states: "Please make your check payable to BUSINESS COMPLIANCE SERVICES…for a total of $175.00. The first tip off was a ‘processing Fee’ of $75.00. The second was the address which is a UPS location.

Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill
My wife received a notice in the mail, at our home address, from the above company claiming that her company (non-existent) may be out of compliance with federal and state laws and that to get in compliance she should send them money in exchange for "Employmetn Law Posters" and pamphlets. the letter has "Public information" a business with my wife’s name as the business name at our home address and a business ID number.
